Pastor’s Message:

We are delighted to have you visit our church website. It is my privilege to serve as the pastor of the Faith Baptist Church. Our heart-felt prayer is for people to know the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and become actively involved in a Bible-believing, Bible-preaching church that cares for them.

At Faith Baptist we teach Biblical principles that will help todays Christians to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

My wife and I are both from West Virginia.  Mrs. Tenney graduated from Martinsburg High School in 1986, and then from Shepherd College in 1992.  Pastor Tenney graduated from West Preston High School in 1985, and Crown Bible College in 1997 with a Pastoral Theology degree.

I felt the Lord leading me back to Berkeley county to establish a new independent Baptist church for the Lord's Glory.  We started meeting in our home, now the Lord has blessed us with 100 current members.  Church planting is a very exciting experience, the excitement is catching.  If you are looking for a new church home, then please consider, Faith Baptist Church, a place where you will feel at home!
